Foundation of Spieth Shooting Ranges

Ernst Spieth GmbH was founded by Ernst Spieth in Stuttgart in 1934. The founder, Ernst Spieth, a sports shooter himself, turned his passion into his profession.

Spieth Olympic Games

Spieth became the supplier for national and international competitions and, in 1960, the supplier for the Olympic Games in Rome.

Funk Group

In 1999, Spieth became part of the Funk Bowling Group, known as the world's leading manufacturer of bowling alleys. The Funk Bowling Group remains family-owned.

Expansion to include hunting segment

The production program has been expanded to include hunting shooting systems, particularly fully automatic clay pigeon and skeet shooting machines.

Expansion to include the government sector

In 2008, the product range was further expanded and tailored to the needs of police authorities. This made Spieth a supplier to numerous police authorities in Germany and Austria.

Expansion to include military division

The product range has been completed with Spieth Defense, a product category that serves the needs of military shooting ranges – for your safety.
